Welcome to the Polk State College Foundation General Scholarship Application


Applications for the 2026-27 academic year will be open from February 1 through February 28 for all current college students and graduating high school students. Foundation scholarships will be available for use beginning in the fall semester of the 2026-2027 Academic Year. They may be used in subsequent terms until they are fully expended, expired, or terminated pursuant to donor requirements.

Essay submissions found to be generated or overtly enhanced by AI may cause the application to be disqualified and removed from consideration. Additionally, students selected for scholarships who submit AI-generated Thank You letters will have their scholarship offers revoked, and a note will be placed in their file for future applications.


Instructions for Students New to Polk State College:

  1. Application & Admission:

    All applicants must apply and be admitted to Polk State College. If you have not taken courses for three consecutive terms, you must reapply and be readmitted as a returning student.

  2. Application Process:

    Once your application is processed, you will receive a confirmation email welcoming you as an admitted student. Please check your junk/spam folder if you don’t see it in your inbox.

  3. Processing Time:

    Allow up to 14 business days for your application to be processed. After you are admitted, follow the instructions below to complete your Foundation General Scholarship Application.

For First-Time Scholarship Applicants:

  • After receiving your Polk State College Student ID and student email address, click the Sign-In button (located in the top right corner of the page).
  • Sign in using your Polk State student email address.
  • After signing in, you will be directed to complete the Foundation General Scholarship Application.

For Returning Scholarship Applicants:

  • Click the Sign-In button in the top right corner of the page to log in.
  • Use your Polk State student email to log in. If you’ve forgotten your password, click the “Forgot Password” link to reset it.

Scholarship Matching & Acceptance

The Polk State College Foundation General Scholarship Application automatically matches your application with eligible scholarships. If awarded, secure your scholarship for the 2026-27 academic year by completing the post-acceptance process by the indicated deadline. Failure to complete the process will result in forfeiting the scholarship, which may be awarded to another applicant.
